Prime Minister announced that Notes of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 are banned from today i.e, 8th November,2016.
New notes are going to be released soon. But, 50days time are given(ie, till 30 DECEMBER 2016) so that people can exchange all
there notes with there respective banks OR in post office.
PM Narendra Modi said that its a great step taken by him against BLACK MONEY.
Important points:-
1.500 and 1000 rupee notes are banned from Today midnight onwards.
2.9th and 10th of november ATM's will be closed.
3.Daily limit of 10k and weekly 20k deposits is allowed in ATM.
4.Upto 11th nov 500 and 1000 rupee notes can be used in petrol pump, government hospitals and railway tickets only.
5.Before 31st Dec,2016 500 and 1000 rupees notes can be exchanged in banks and post offices without any charges.
6.PM Narendra Modi says that 1.2 lakh crores rupees of Black Money is been recovered till now.
# Not to worry Notes of 500 and 2000 rupees will be circulated by RESERVE BANK OF INDIA Soon and there will be a restricted limits
of those notes.
